Registration Guidelines for a .de Domain

The registration policies for a .de domain are set by DENIC eG, the registry for .de domains. In order to register a .de domain, the registrant must provide true and complete information about himself and his company, including his name, address and contact details. The registrant must also undertake to comply with DENIC’s Domain Guidelines and Terms and Conditions, including the rules on permitted use and content, and to observe all applicable laws and regulations.

In addition, the registrant must pay the required registration fees and accept the terms and conditions of the registrar he has chosen. Please note that certain restrictions may apply to the registration of .de domains, such as the requirement of a local presence in Germany.

As an IT professional, it is important for us to be aware of these policies to ensure compliance and to assist our customers with registration.
